By using HamroPets (hamropets.com) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. HamroPets is presented by Adopt a Dog Nepal, a nonprofit organization operating since 2018. These terms apply to all users including pet owners, adopters, walkers, sitters and visitors.
HamroPets is an online platform that connects: • Pet owners looking to rehome pets with potential adopters • Dog walkers and pet sitters with pet owners • Pet owners with veterinary clinics and pet services • Communities reporting lost and found pets HamroPets is a marketplace and does not directly own, house or transport any animals. We are not responsible for the outcome of any adoption, service arrangement or lost/found report.
All pet adoptions on HamroPets must be: • 100% FREE. You may not charge any fee for adopting a pet through this platform. • Honest. All information about the pet including health, temperament and history must be accurate. • Ethical. Pets must be rehomed to suitable, caring homes. We reserve the right to remove any listing that appears to facilitate animal cruelty or exploitation. HamroPets reviews all pet listings before they go live. Approval typically takes 24 hours. We may reject any listing without explanation.
To register as a dog walker or pet sitter on HamroPets you must: • Provide a valid Nepal citizenship card (Nagarik Pramaan Patra) for identity verification • Provide accurate information about your services, availability and service areas • Be at least 18 years of age • Agree to treat all animals in your care with kindness and responsibility HamroPets verifies identity documents but does not conduct criminal background checks. Users should exercise their own judgment when hiring walkers and sitters.
HamroPets offers optional paid packages including Social Boost (NPR 299) and Priority Shield (NPR 599) for pet adoption listings, and similar packages for lost pet reports. Payments are accepted via eSewa (9851221428) and Khalti. Paid packages are activated manually after payment confirmation via WhatsApp (9851405178). Refunds are available if your package has not yet been activated. Once activated, refunds are not available. Contact us within 24 hours of payment if you have concerns.
Lost and found pet reports are posted as a free community service. HamroPets does not guarantee that lost pets will be found or returned. We are not responsible for the actions of anyone who responds to a lost/found report. Always meet in a public place when reuniting or handing over a found pet. Never pay anyone to return a found pet — this is a scam.
You may not use HamroPets to: • Sell or buy pets (all adoptions must be free) • Post fraudulent, misleading or inaccurate listings • Harass, spam or threaten other users • Collect personal information from other users beyond what is needed to complete a transaction • Facilitate animal cruelty, neglect or exploitation • Operate commercial breeding operations • Violate any laws of Nepal Violations may result in immediate removal of your listings and permanent ban from the platform.
All content on HamroPets including the platform design, logo, text and features is owned by HamroPets and Adopt a Dog Nepal. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission. By submitting photos or content to HamroPets you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform and our social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) for the purpose of promoting pet adoption.
HamroPets is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for: • The health, temperament or suitability of any pet listed on the platform • The conduct or reliability of walkers, sitters or adopters • Any loss, injury or damage resulting from use of the platform • Technical outages or data loss Our total liability to any user shall not exceed NPR 5,000.
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nepal.
